Technically, even the so-called 'continuous' light is pulsed; however, due to its high frequency (100/120 Hz), it is perceived by the human eye as steady, uninterrupted illumination. Despite this subtle technical distinction, we will use the traditional terms “flashing light” and “permanent light” for clarity and ease of understanding.
